I graduated from Rutgers Univeristy with a Ph.D. in Mathematics on May 10, 2024. I successfully defended my thesis, Symbolic Computation to Study Explicit Grobner Bases and Lattice Path Enumeration on February 29, 2024. My thesis advisor was Doron Zeilberger. While at Rutgers, I made GRADient (the LGBTQ professional and graduate student organization at Rutgers University) a recognized Graduate Student Organization and was president for four years. Due to my work in GRADient, I received the LGBTQIA Taskforce Award. This award is presented to the top leaders and contributors to the LGBTQIA+ community at Rutgers University, recognizing them for their outstanding dedication, leadership, and advocacy.
I graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a B.A. in mathematics and a minor in philosophy, and I was awarded Departmental Honors in Mathematics. I also took courses in the Lynch School of Education. I was inducted into the Order of the Cross and Crown, an honor society that recognizes students who both achieved academic excellence and had an important impact on the community through service and leadership.
